Hi all ,
I am getting ready to install some stage 2 heads, and LS-6 Intake Manifold, and was thinking of going with a bigger cam for street racing.....
* I want to know the best cam for street racing ?
1- TR230 cam .
2- MTI's X1 cam .
3- MTI's c2 cam .
4- or any cam do you think it is the best and the
biggest cam for street racing .
* Which cam will give better power ??
So, does anyone have any suggestions!?!?
*1998 camaro z28 m6 Mods
Direct Flow Lid))(hpp3)
(K&N air cleaner)(Granatelli MAF)(MSD wire's)(free mods)(Mac headers)(Pro-5.0 shifter)
(BMR TB bypass)(crome ZR-1's)(3.73)(160 T-stat)

I will put my vote in for the C2. It idles pretty dog gone smooth, makes phenominal power and puts down E.T.'s, that even with me being in the car, I still find astounding.
For such a seemingly "Clark Kent" cam.... when the chips are down, it can sure pull a helluva "Superman".
With this cam you dont need huge rear gears, or any other mega-cam band aid.
A good converter, a killer exhaust and a free flowing intake and your there....pure hell on the streets.
I fricken love this combo.

Remember you only have 3.73 gears. Unless you plan on upgrading them to 4.10's or higher, go semi-conservative on the cam.
Good luck
