Re: Top speed... I did some theoretical computer tests with my cars configuration to see what the top speed might be.
It doesn't matter if you have a big cubed motor, because it all comes down to RWHP. If you have an F-body with an average weight, with a 6 speed, and 4.10 gears that is pushing 500 RWHP or more, you can use the 5th and 6th gear as a power gear to acheive a little over 200 MPH. Right around 215 or so.
But, that is just using the standard drag coefficent for a camaro, and then adding in the weight and my RWHP per 500 RPM until I reach my peak power in 6th gear at 6700 RPM.

Re: Top speed... That post is too long for me to read.. Both cars are nice.. Both cars are fast. If it is top speed I am going to say Camaro. When I had just cam and headers with 3.42's I was 3 cars in front of my buddy and still going upwards in the rpm band. My RPM needle in 5th read 6250 and was still going until I ran out of road.. You do the math..
