Default Porting heads: multi angle valve job and valves

When a set of heads is ported with a multi angle valve job, do the heads require a larger diameter valve? The reason that I ask is that I am looking into building a set of heads with fairly big valves that will be close to clearing the bore. If larger valves are needed, the bore might not be big enough to accommodate the valves. TIA..

No, larger than stock size valves are not necessarily required.

You may want to call your machinist and get there opinion since I am no expert.

I am running 2.02/1.55 Ferreas in my heads. 1.55 is stock exhaust size.
