Default Valve train reliability

How big of a cam can I run without losing reliability and driveabilty with an A4. I drive my car on the street and highway a lot and I like to take long trips. BTW I have 3.42 gears, PT2900 in a C5.

No seriously I wouldn't go bigger than say a nice .220/.220 LSA 114 cam if you are really worried about driveability.
