Will Crane's Ford rocker shims work with our heads?

Will Crane's Ford rocker shims work with our heads? I've looked everywhere--even under God's shoe, and couldn't find anything that looked like what I need to use to raise my rocker shaft up .030--
the Ford pedestal mount shims look like the may be usable--but I'm not 100% confident that they'll work...
I have to put the car together this weekend, and I must have shims to do it...(the valves were recessed 30 for clearance issues--before you ask)
Please, any advise would be greatly appreciated--

Re: Will Crane's Ford rocker shims work with our heads? I have heard of guys using rocker shims from some mustang source to set the valvetrain up correctly with comp R lifters. Also Craig at GTP can machine you some shims.

Re: Will Crane's Ford rocker shims work with our heads? I would think you could get any .030 shim from a machine shop (Like the kind used to shim up valve springs) and trim them if needed.

Re: Will Crane's Ford rocker shims work with our heads? Thanks for the advise, guys--I went ahead and ordered the shims from Crane, since I need them by Sat, and I knew I could get them overnighted from them quick...
I checked with a few guys here in town, but they gave me the runaround, so, if the Fords don't work, I'll get back with you to find the right ones
