Damn Matt! Those are some crazy #'s! And to think you picked those specs out all by yourself. That's awesome power, especially if you consider that it's through 4.10's. Your car should fly at the track with a nice tire under the car.

Stout #'s !!
I'm just as amazed that you pulled 420rwhp with a B1 cam through a 12 bolt/4.11 gears and big tires!!
I was kind of baffled that you dynoed 435rwhp once with the B1....were you ever able to figure out why that happened?? Different dyno? Bad correction?

Vince,
All of my dyno runs have been on the same dyno. The one time that it did make the 434 with the old setup it was really cold out, prolly around 40 degrees. I had dynoed the car several times that day and let it sit on the dyno for a couple of hours before I made that pull. I think it was just a fluke.
When I dynoed it yesterday it was 95+ degrees outside, and I made 10 pulls within an hour and the lowest was the 438 with the highest being the 445, so it was very consistent.

Why does everybody make a big deal about the weather? The dynojet corrects for the weather. Seems like you could use this to your advantage by running race fuel...not that I know anybody who would do this

JP98SS,
The weather really isn't that big of a deal considering the dyno does the best it can to correct for weather. However, I have been around dynos for a VERY long time, and like I said the dyno can only do the best it can. Cars still seem to dyno a little bit better in good air than they do in bad air........

Vince why not give this cam a shot and see if it might wake your heads up some?
Did you see the post about the F1 with some stock LS6 heads? It made 419/394
E-mail me for more info or any questions you might have.

Matt,
You know my car and seen it dyno many times, do you remember the cam I have? TR 224 how are the specs of the F1 compared to the 224? Sean mentioned it's a reverse split cam is it 230/224? Whats the duration? Better then 561? Do you think I would benefit from this cam? If it would worth the gains I'm game. Let me know and we'll set it up.
P.S, Can I spray with this cam? Just ordered the NX GM EFI kit and all the rest of the goodies.

Mark, This cam is quite a bit bigger than your current cam, but I doubt it would cause much driveability change. The cam you have now is bigger than my previous cam.
The specs again are 230/226 .591/.569 112
I think that your car would gain quite a bit from this cam, but there is only one way to find out Get in touch with Sean and I bet you can work out a deal......
We are planning on running a special in the next week or two with this cam and install. I will release the details when everything is finalized.

I was just curious as to your exact mod list..
what maf are you running..do you have a ported tb?
underdrive pulleys,I assume lid and some kind of better air filter, what size injectors..?? and what do you mean a bit of work around town..
I have the b1 now like you had so very curious.Wonder if some of my other mods would show any dyno gain..carbon fiber driveshaft, full synthetics thruout the car??? Have you played with any mafs on the dyno??

My horsepower does not fall off. It just peaks earlier than it should. 6k rpm should not be my peak with the 226 XE-R cam. I would have to fax my dyno to someone. It seems that each time I dyno'd everyone let off early secondary to my engine was still in break in period. Looking at my past dyno's with the T1 my horsepower levels out at 6k and it is only a 5rwhp diff between 6k and 6400rpm.. Some think it is not the heads and it could be my combo.. I have no clue.. Who has a fax machine and want to take a look..?
