Matt,

Did you have any P to V clearance issues or did you cut the pistons? Another question I have is do you think I'll have any tuning issues with the new cam and Ed's tuning? As soon as I make sure i have all my bases covered I'll take a day off and come over and we'll do the swap, know anybody body who needs a fairly new TR 224? Are you spraying with that cam?

Mark

My heads are milled .030 and I had no P/V clearance issues .

I know that the car will run just fine with the new cam in it, but your tuning may still need to be retweaked to get your a/f just right again. The only to tell is going to be to put it on the dyno after the swap .

I have not sprayed the car yet, but the nitrous kit has been back on the car since the motor went back in . After I get a couple thousand miles on the motor I am gonna spray her again

No matter how you look at it those #'s are awesome. I have several people just itching for me to do another cam swap and others telling me to tune her and see what she gets first. You would think the 226 XE-R cam would be more than enough for my setup, but some think I should go bigger. Personally I think they are trying to get me to continue doing R&D, but who knows..

Where are these camshafts? How do I get one? What are the specs on the cam? Sorry for all the questions but those are some kick a@# numbers.
