Default What can i expect?

What can iexpect for hp with 243 heads, and 234/242, .600/610 LSA 110+2. I got the cam for 200 bucks from a buddy, and the heads assembled with patriot dual gold valve springs for 600. What i am afraid of is the stock bottom end, and high rpms. What can the stock bottom end hold, and what can i spin the motor to? The car is a 99 trans am. Is it worth it to get a double roller timeing chain, and an LS6 pump. Just would like to know before i put all the stuff back together in the car. Is there anything else that i would be good to do while i doing heads and cam. Motor is torn down, just need a bigger air compress, to get the crank pulley off, or a better method. And i am on to pulling the cam out.

Double roller is not needed, a LS2 chain is fine. I would get a new pump in there while your down there, good insurance. Some people upgrade to new rod bolts, some don't. I did, once again for insurance to spin 6800-7000.

As far as stock 243 heads, you should see at least 15 rwhp gains in the high rpm range over your 853's.
