Default Any ill Effects from Using a Metco Breather?

Has anyone had any problems after they put on their Metco valve cover breather? Does it effect emissions, set off codes, etc.?

Why didn't GM put a valve cover breather on the Ls1 in the first place?

I was hoping that it would curb my oil consumption problem.

gm didnt do it because it lessens the eficiency of the pcv system also increasing emmissions, little did they know that their oil blocking ability is nihl.

i removed my pcv lines and just run 2 breathers. no more oil in the motor/

i've had one one for about two weeks. haven't set any codes. doesn't look like i've used any oil since i installed it and changed my pcv valve.
