Hydraulic Roller Lifters?

Hydraulic Roller Lifters? Can these lifters be used with a hydraulic cam? If so, what is the difference( besides the obvious ) between them and standard hydraulic lifters? TIA.

Cam/lifter usage is as follows and can't be used any other way: hydraulic cam - hydraulic lifters, hydraulic roller cam - hydraulic roller lifters, solid cam - solid lifters, solid roller cam - solid roller lifters. LS1s use only hydraulic roller or solid roller cams/lifters. Hydraulic roller cams are more streetable as they do not require periodic adjustment like the solid roller cams do. Solid roller cams can create more power and rev higher than hydraulic roller cams. Hope this helps. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Cool]" src="gr_images/icons/cool.gif" />
