When you say "If they are pre 2000 they won't work due to there being some differences in the heads." do you mean that if my heads (1999) are pre-2k then the cometic gaskets will not work??

Default Head Gaskets - Z06?? (N/A vs. Boost)

I thought I'd put this here rather than in the forced induction forum.

What is the best head gasket for a 400+rwhp n/a M6 LS1?

I've heard the 'Zo6' head gaskets are good but have not done any research on the topic - anyone know how much the head gasket kit runs?

The word on the street is the Cometic gaskets. At least thats what my research turned up. You can get just about any thickness you want.

You might want to do some research on it. There were some guys that had notches in their heads. I honestly cannot remember if it was 98 only or 98 and 99. I would probably go cometic if you are going to go FI though.
