Default Engine Bearings

Anyone have any experience with engine bearings other than stock? Both Federal Mogul and Clevite 77 make several types of racing bearings and I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for a 650-700hp nitrous motor. It will be street driven and longevity is important. Also if you have part numbers to go with your recommendations that would be a great help.

In John Lingenfelter's book, he swears by Clevite 77 bearing <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" /> If they make a set for the LS1, then I would tend to think they are pretty good.
