the word budget has a wide variety of meanings as you can see from the $1100+ PRC's to the $300 home ported 241's. you must specify your budget for an accurate answer.

YOu can pick up some nice condition Patriot LS6 style heads here with good .650 dual spring between $700 and $900 and I would just keep you eyes peeled or if you can afford it buy a nice set of brand new ones for $1,295.00. I guess from what i have seen the heads perform well and the qualitycontrol issues that plagued them several years back have all be resolved!

It depends on exactly how tight your budget is......when switching from 98 to 99+ heads (of any style), you'll need to pickup new valvecovers as your current ones (perimeter-bolt style) won't fit the newer heads. That's getting picky tho, shouldn't cost too much, just keep an eye out for them in the classifieds.
