Default Another cam question (oh-oh).. Piston to valve clearance with 226/234-XE-R

This is the cam I am looking at, for good power & to optimize the nitrous.

My stage 2 heads have had the minimal miled, just enough for cleanup. I just want to know if this cam will clear on the XE-R grind? Thanks.

I think you will be fine. The intake is what you have to worry about and if you are only cleaned up 226 intake duration should be no problem. I would call Barry just to make sure.
Cheers,
Chris

ps- the 226/234 XE-R will be awesome in your car <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

I agree. There are people running 226/234 with .030 milled off with no problems.. Even with the lift I would think you would be ok.. Now a 234/226 would be a different story

Chris, have you ever heard of a 227/230 on a EX-R? Doesn't look like much difference, other than less exhaust.
