Decide on Setup, Please tell me if it will work?
MTI Stage II Heads
X1 Cam (230/227 .591/.571 112 LSA)
SLP LT Headers w/ORP
TP4400
FLP Level IV tranny or LS1 Speed Tranny
BMR K-Members & A-Arms
MTI Custom Tuning
Will this combo produce any MAJOR probs. ie: piston-valve clearance issues? major things like that
I want this to be one of the baddest H/C setups
Current mods include: Corsa cat-back, MTI Lid, BMR SFC & LCA's

Re: Decide on Setup, Please tell me if it will work?
are you going w/ LS1 or LS6 heads?
I'd say add some 4.10's to that list and it will be a pretty stout combo. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

yeah i am staying with LS1 Heads, 4.10's in an A4 with a TP4400?
So is that TP4400 bad ***?
MTI told me that my combo should run 10's

The reason why I say 4.10's is because that cam is going to most likely want to rev and the shift extention of the TP4400/4.10 combo will keep you in the proper rpm range.
Yes, the TP4400 is the baddest of the badass converters for H/C cars. <img border="0" alt="[hail]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_hail.gif" />
the combo should run 10's in good weather w/ a lightened raceweight.

Steve

Re: Decide on Setup, Please tell me if it will work?
I really dont like those high RPM's on the freeway with the 4.10's though., i think i will get some 3.73's, because i plan on forging the bottom end and adding a turbo and dont wanna shift into OD in the 1/4
