Default P/V clearance

with 222/222 .595.595 111 and 5.7L heads i want 11.0-1 C/R what do i need to do, what valves to get and what are the biggest valves i can put into my heads without machining to fit. how much to mill and will i have p/c problems....

you can mill .040 to get about 11.1:1. im not sure about the valves though.

hey grinch whats up you make it home all right. WE did. But anyways just incase you forgot 2.055 on the intake side and 1.60 on the exhaust side. I wouldnt mill the heads over .30 but with .30 you will get around 10:8:1 compression. you should be fine...

I have .040 milled off of 5.3L heads with 2.02 valves and a 232/232 camshaft. I only had to notch .020 for that which is hardly nothing. a 230/230 probably wouldn't have needed anything <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />
