Default decided on cam I think

TR 220/220 on 14LSA for emission reasons. Wanted the 220/220 12LSA but not sure about emissions and how bad if any a idle problem would be.

What parts would be smart to install with this cam?
Is a oil pump and timing chain a good idea?
What about a idling problem cause its a A4?
Custom tuning? If so who and where? Send out computer?

Comp 218's seem to be the best springs right now. I would definitaly get a new oil pump, ARE makes a good ported pump, that's what I'm getting. You could probably get an A4 to idle with that cam, but I would get tuning with any cam. If you can't afford LS1Edit, find a shop that tunes with that program. Some sponsors do. I think that cam would be a good match for your Vig. BTW, I noticed we have almost the exact same mods lol. I am going to get the Comp 218/224 cam. You may want to look at that. It's a lower lift, but it puts out good power. Someone here (99TransAmGirl) dynoed like 415hp with that cam and stage 1 heads. I'm sure it would pass emmissions.

Should I also buy retainers, keepers and a timing chain?
Where can I buy LS1 edit? I don't remember ever seeing it for sale.

Katech that builds the factory C5R program also offers a blueprinted oil pump, worth considering.
