Looks like a good project, good luck. Seems like you are shooting a little higher than me, especially with a potential 300 shot and all... lol I was only considering a 200 shot at the most.

I agree. The cylinder bores will need to be enlarged only .0005" from the honing. They will use a deck plate when this is done to simulate the heads being installed. This will cause the cylinders to be more concentric, resulting in better seal for the rings and better oil control. Find a good shop with an operator that knows these blocks.
