110 psi will not hurt anything. I used my 175psi compressor when I did the cam and spring swap and it is fine. All you are doing is using the air to keep the valve in its seat. There is no way this could hurt the motor.

You should be changing springs with piston at top dead center for each cylinder you are working on, like that you wont turn motor over from too much cylinder pressure, and valves wont be able to fall far into cylinder. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

I want to get these valve springs off today. A problem I have run into is that the air compressor will not adjust the pressure. So would 110 psi be too much for the cylinder? Or should I try the "hot potato" method? If I should how do I get the valve back up?
