are cometic gaskets reusable?

Re: are cometic gaskets reusable? cool , just to make sure, is there an up/down position on them ?? if that's the case , will installing it upside down cause the gasket not to seal and the coolant to pour out?
Re: are cometic gaskets reusable? no that wont cause them to leak...i dont think...but the heads need to have a clean up pass done or they may not seal. I have seen this on 2 cars. You will need to lightly coat the gaskets with copper spray.
