Default Blocking off OEM Oil Presure sending unit hole.

Hey everyone how did you guys go about blocking off your OEM pil presure sending unit hole? I broke my sending unit I then filled it up with JB weld and let it dry for a few days since my car wasnt runing anyways. and screwed it back in. But I seem to be leaking like a drop or 2 everyday. Does anyone have any tips on what I can do.

Either a plug or short bolt should work; thread size is M16 x 1.5

No the sending unit broke off the metal ring its attached to was filled with JB weld. I have all aftermarket gauges there for I had/have/never will have need for it. Its not leaking out of the JB thats for sure. Im thinking its leaking out of the crush washer that comes with the Oil Press sender I'll replace that along with a whole new plug as RAACCR said.

Thanks for the advice I went to auto zone before I did the JB weld thing and they said it was special thread and they had notint to match it after 25min of looking

Autometer sells part # 2268 which adapts from M16 x 1.5 male to 1/8" NPT female. Should cost about $10 - $12...then just plug that with a common 1/8" NPT plug.See this thread for more info http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show....php?t=1588172
