Looking for info on Holden front sump oil pan
I am installing a 99 LS1 in a non-GM car and a front sump pan would make it much simpler. I know the part number for the pan is 12561541. Can anybody tell me if this will work on my engine and if so what else would i need?

As far as I know, the only components that you will need to change will be;
Pick-up Tube - 12572654
Dipstick Tube - 12561544
Dipstick - 12562468
I do not have any prices on these tonight, but I will check on them for you tomorrow.
That should be all you need. The Holden pan uses the same windage tray as the Corvette, so you may also need the windage tray - 12558189.

Re: Looking for info on Holden front sump oil pan
Thanks, that helps alot. It looks like i will also need the oil transfer tube. What is the ASM pan? Do you know the PN's for the Holden pan and related parts?

Nice info!! Hard to beat good factory pictures. I wired up a Holden LS1 test engine a couple of years ago, and the exhaust manifolds looked like those pics. Closer to a header than our (USA)manifolds; very nice pieces.
