Default HOW 2 REACH 400HP PLUS?

does anyone know if you can get 400+hp with heads, cam and headers alone.its a stock 2002 z28.thanks <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" />

Thats easy.. If you want to play it say.. I would look into GM LS6 CNC heads and ASA cam... The flow #'s that PSJ provide would be perfect for that cam and you would easily be over 400rwhp with tuning..

Yep, I have Macs, hand ported heads(not ls6) a comp 224XE-R cam, an LS6 intake and made 392hp on a 92 degree day with stock tuning in my 98. Cool weather, some better headers(hooker, flp), or some lighter wheels and tires would have easily been 400 wit STOCK tuning. I was extremely happy because the heads were cheap, my MAC headers were cheap, and I did all the install work myself.

Any of the tuners can get you the 400rwhp..

Simple, just add haders, catback, 28# injectors(minimum, stock 02 are 24#), heads and a cam. Get a little tuning (I don't buy the stock programming ****, especially on the 02). If I had stock programming I would have blown the motor, the A/F went into the 17's at 5k. The stock injectors can't keep up even when adding fuel in the pcm they were maxed out.

You could get a GOOD shop to do a stage 2 port and polish on the heads, add a nice cam, 150 shot (direct port), LS6 intake, exhaust, and tuning and that will get you it, (stall if its an auto).
Thats the route I am going and will have closer to 500 with tuning, 400 with an LS1 is very easy.
