I got my car running today it was going fine and after about 10 miles the oil pressure started lowering rapidly. AT idle it sits on the first white line wich i thanks 20. Wha is the problem Is it my oil pump did i install it wrong what could it be.

 

Will a PVC Valve Have anything to do with this? And who sales a good oil pump and how much is it?

 

if it started this after you reinstalled/installed an oil pump, then it sounds like you tore the O ring in the oil pump. pull the pump and replace the o ring (under a doller from the parts department). when you go to reasemble, put the o ring on the pick-up tube, not in the pump. i learned the hard way after 2 bad pump installes.

 

check and see how close your header is to the oil filter before I wrapped my header the oil pressure would drop to about 22 now with new oil and wrap it is 35.

 

i never took it off the pick up tube so i dont see how it went on wrong. And my header on that side is far from the oil filter.
