Which oil pump should i get, i just want one that is better than the stock LS1 what is everyone using?

I ordered a melling from speedinc for my truck. It should be in in a couple of days.It's supposedly better than the ls6 pump from what I have read and the manufacture specifications.

ls6 oil pump, or get a ported/shimmed pump from a sponsor either will work fine
