Backfiring like Crazy???
Backfiring like Crazy??? I just installed heads, cam, intake, tb, headers and have run into some really bad problems. Help! This is basically on open headers.
initially upon first startup, the car would pop quite a bit. we got that to stop and idle fine, but now it is backfiring a lot and eventually dying.
what would be the main possible reasons for causing this?
It is a 230/234 cam 595/585 114 +2
heads were milled to 62cc's to be cleaned up
FAST ported 90 intake with a PTM 90 tb.
Any ideas GREATLY appreciated.

i have heard also it could be because of a bent pushrod, heads milled too much, etc. is that possible?

check to make sure all of your conntections are good(plugs wires and coils) sounds like you got a loose wire or bad wire
