I was curious if any of the sponsers/board members have played with advancing of any of the camshafts out there to date?
Example,Lets say have a HP PEAK of 6500 and a 4700 TQ PEAK but it carries it to 6800 and 5000 then drops off.Now if u were to advance the cam 2 to 4 degrees I assume it would make MORE TQ at a LOWER peak and peak the HP alittle lower too?

I have been tech assisting a vendor/board member.
He has a 218/224 cc with 5 degrees of advance ground in.
The car stops making power at 6000 on the dyno.
While I think he has other problems.... the extra advance is not helping him one bit. It helps keep the Rpm's low but it sure isnt helping the HP number.
Dang, I really dont like that cam. (personal opinion)
