Default My TR 224/227 112LSA must be TINY !!!

Well, after driving my car for about 2 months now after my cam only install, I cannot see that it has raised my power curve at all, the cam definatly makes more power, but it does not make it higher in the RPM range than the stocker did. This really surprised me, I also have the rev limiter set at 6600, so its getting all the way up there. Maybe the LT's will change the curve a little ?

If you do not have headers now, you are definitely leaving ALOT of power on the table....

Uh, It did raise your peak. Better check the correction factor of your Butt Dyno.

Fenris, my butt dyno is quite accurate. I know when I needed to shift before the cam, and I know when i need to shift after the cam. It is no different. And no, I havent been to the dyno after the cam yet.

Put it on a dyno and prove me wrong.

Thats what Ill have to do, but I dynoed it in NC, and I live in ND. Makes it tough to get good numbers out of a different dyno. And an 1800 mile trip to dyno just aint gonna happen. At least it may show what RPM the power is at now compared to before. But, I may wait for the headers and tuning, then dyno. I dont know....

LT+CR will do the trick you ll not bealive the feel of the accelariton difference
A little higher CR is a must for a cam like that.

Should be around 340rwhp through stock manifolds/cats/heads. Thats only a 20rwhp gain, and its only at the top so you wont really feel it since it comes in so gradually.

ok this is simple, LT's, and get LS-1 edit.
If this dosn't wake up your @ss dyno or whatever your calling it then, then your motor is , or you need to just sell the car and get a honda

I bet if you dyno the car as it is now with cam and no headers, then do long tube headers, no cats and a cut out dyno again you'll get an SLP like gain of like 40-50rwhp after the headers are added.
