valve seals for MTI stage 2 heads???

valve seals for MTI stage 2 heads???

I'm going to replace the valve seals on my MTI stage 2 heads. After emailing MTI with no responce I decided to call them and they told me that the valve seals were stock LS1 valve seals. I was under the impression that the ferra 8mm valves were larger than stock size valve stems. What is the truth to this and what is the best kind of valve seals to replace?

I'm pretty sure they do use the stock valve seals. Their custom valves have the same size stem as stock.

Thanks nineball, your one of the people I was hoping would chime in. I guess I'l replace them with stock seals. Any other seal manufactures to look into, anything better than GM?

Ok looking at my parts catalog. There are different part #'s for 99-01 and 02. Does anyone know if the 02 ones are better and will they work? They show to be bigger but in what way, theres no difference in heads. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" />

I do know if you buy the seals listed for a 2002 Z06 you will get "newer updated" one peice seals instead of the two piece seals.. I went to the single peice seals to stop the oil loss..
