Default Do I need Double springs for a Heads/Cam/Nitrous set-up?

I'm gonna order either a 220 or 224 with 114 LSA and ported LS1 heads for my Firehawk and spray it with a 100 shot.

Gonna order a less aggressive cam for the WS6 because Helga's not really interested in top end, just bottom power (probably 218?? What do you guys suggest??).

I know I'll lose a little bottom end power but I'll make up for it with rpm's. Plus I'm thinking about 4:10 gears on top of the heads/cam/spray

Paul at Thunder told me that I'd need double springs to protect the cam at those rpm's with that kinda power (when I spray).

Any help about anything I've said would be appreciated guys; THANKS

Yes better safe than sorry.Email me and I can tell you where to get a dual spring setup with no machining of the heads required for 289 and thats everything.

It would be safer if you had double springs. But I have comp 941's with H/C and a 125 shot the set up is almost 3 years old

Cool, thanks guys!

What cam do you recommend for the WS6 set-up?

She's only looking for low-end power (gonna get ported LS1 heads for hers too).

I still gotta take her to some car-shows so I can see what she wants as far as exhaust note with headers.
She definitely wants something loud but reeeeally deep hollow.
I'll probably throw Macs on hers so I can run race-cats through a good exhaust . . . just don't know which exhaust to go with when considering the heads/cam package

If you plan on spraying your set up as you stated with H/C you will need some bigger injectors and a better fuel pump as well. MO Money Mo Money
Do you have your Spray yet ??? I am selling the wet kit off my car with a full 15lb bottle and purge complete for 530.00 bottle was amost 50 to fill
