Thunder Racing has this two packages..I'll be getting the TR 224/.563 114LSA but will I need the single or double valve springs or does it even matter?And im guessing COMP is Better than Crane since its more expensive?

You need comp 918s. I am installing a TR224 on a 112 and I am using 918s. With only .563 lift, they're sufficient. You only need to step up to dual springs when using a cam with over .600 lift. People can say sure, just use the duals, but they forget that using dual springs in an application that doesn't need them only robs you of power.

Will this cam get me 400hp at the wheels with stock or ported heads, I notice that in their site the car made 397.
