6.0l blocks

6.0l blocks I am faced with a tuff decision should i have my aluminum ls1 resleaved or should i get a 6.0l truck block instead and does anyone know anything about the 6.0l block. I am thinking about doing a turbos eventually, or maybe a supercharger. Someone please help.

Re: 6.0l blocks I am running a 6.0 truck block in my ARE 422ci iron block setup.
It's about 70-75 lbs heavier than stock.
For a power adder car it can really make sense due to the increase in reliability. Better clamping force with iron to aluminum... Less distortion of the deck surface due to heat etc...
The increase in weight is nothing to scoff at.

Re: 6.0l blocks go with the iron vlock , since resleeving is more expensive . plus the iron block is the way to go if you're going FI.
just remeber to drill and tap the missing holes and use shimms for the ones you can't drill.
