At a gettogether last night, a fellow suggested that since I have a 2002, I might think about converting the engine to an LS6. I live in California, where it's a pain in the*ss to change heads and cam, because of the absurd smog laws. But the converted engine should pass both the visual and emmissions tests, and might even be completely legal for all I know.

What would I have to replace besides the heads and cam in order to have a true LS6?
