That looks like it was one hell of an explosion. Would have been interesting to see that one happen.

That's nothing. I blew up a 350 in a 3/4 ton Suburban years ago that failed so badly it blew the small end of a rod along with most of a piston pin THROUGH the cam and THROUGH the lifter valley sending a pushrod out THROUGH the valve cover and put a 1 inch tall dent in my hood. Do not EVER miss a shift and hit granny low at 40 MPH. Doh!!!
