I am getting ready to do a cam on my 2002 camaro and I was wondering if anyone on here lones the spring compressor out . I just can see spending mone on something i am gonna use once . I just thought maybe some one would lone me there tool for maybe a deposit ! Also the slide in lifter tool?

I made my lifter tools from 2 pieces of 5/16" steel rod. Had to grind one side of one a tiny bit for it to fit, but it worked perfect. "The Larry Tool", or "The Tim Tool" is only like $30 and would work great for you.

 

where do i get the larry or the tim tool and do you have any picture of what you did to the 5/16 rod to make it work my email is jamesbtri@yahoo.com

 

Search the LS1 internal engine listing for "Tim" or "spring tool" and you'll find all the info.
