Default TR 224 Installed Last Week

Ok Yall-Went To TR Last Monday To Drop Car Off (in sig) For The 224/561 112 Cam (918-Rods-Ti Retainers)....First Off A Special Thanks To Crew At Thunder For Doing A Great Job & Having My Car Ready By Thursday....Wife & Me Were Chewing Nails To Get Back To Bama=Should Have Rented A Car <img border="0" title="" alt="[Roll Eyes]" src="images/icons/rolleyes.gif" /> Alright, I Had The Ls6 Intake,Oil Pump, Timing Chain, & Custom Tuning....Before Dyno (2 Pulls Back To Back) Was 312.4 rwhp & 351.9 rwtq...After 360.8 rwhp & 390 rwtq...(Idles At 750 In D & 900 Park)..I Picked The Car Up & Drove 427 Miles To The House Looking Like This <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> Possum Eatn Briars All The Way Back....Big SOTP Kick All The Way From 1st thru 3rd <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" /> (aint topped it out yet)..Glad I Went With The 112, As The Lope Is Awesome To Me...Oh, Got 22.5 Miles Per On The Way Back At 80 & 85 Mph Interstate Driving.....Once Again, Thank Yall At TR For Everything=== <img border="0" alt="[Fluffy]" title="" src="graemlins/fluffy.gif" /> <img border="0" alt="[Fluffy]" title="" src="graemlins/fluffy.gif" /> <img border="0" alt="[Corvette]" title="" src="graemlins/corvette.gif" /> ======Dennis

locking the converter on the dyno usually picks up a few horses <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

You would see ~20rwhp locking your converter up. This way you can get a closer comparison to what a 6-speed car would do. Still, the 6-speed will dyno slightly higher though.

Was the custom tune done with wide-band O-2's on the dyno? I just received my TR 224 in the mail and I'm wondering about tuning and whether it can be done mail-order.

Yes, the tuning was done using the dyno and the wide-band O2.
