Default How much to mill 5.3L heads and pushrod length

I have search and read many posts but it is still not clear to me. The heads would be 5.3L that have been CNCed and have 2.02/1.56 valves. If they are milled .010 then what is the compression going to be? I am thinking near 11:1. I have read that some have milled them .040! What is the compression on these?

I am trying to understand if .010 is enough milling or should I get more. And then with .010 milling what should my pushrod length be?

I will run the TR 224/224 112 cam. My goal is to get as much HP as possible without scaraficing too much reliability. This has been a daily driver but that is changing as the 2000 TA ages.

Thanks for the help.

Thanks, I've read that a couple of times <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" /> And I think that means 7.40 should be fine. But that still leaves compression and how much to mill. I know the .010 will be safe but I'm wondering what gain I will get with more milling. Again this is the 5.3L head and more milling may not be the best choice since the have higher compression over the 5.7L head.
