Default What Cam????help

i am looking forward to buying a cam for my 99 ls-1 , i was hoping once again to get as many responses i could with all the knowledge from everyone...
well i want to buy a cam that is not way too big to change pistons, head and all the works. and i dont want an ls6 or zo6 cam.. i want one that would work great with nitrous and with some mild heads...what should i put?? what do you all recommend?? 6speed and with gears , this would really help out.. i want my car to be heard and to sound aggressive... but that would respond great to nitrous like i said .. soon some heads..thanx people

Try a search man, this question is beaten to death on a daily basis. Just looking at your sig though, i hope your not spraying with that power programmer. Those things advance your timing, and with nitrous-thats a BIG no no...

Yeah, I was gonna say...don't forget the 224 cam.

Honestly, just looking at your setup, it doesnt look like you are going to be spraying a big shot. I would have to guess 150 at the most. The nitrous grinds (Tradional Splits) are ok for N/A as well. You really don't want to get a cam tailored for nitrous though. It is going to react excellent with any cam really. I would suggest you call up Thunder Racing and have them spec you out a cam for your setup. Or TSP can do it as well.
