Default Polishing heads worth it on stock internal motor?

is it worth the time to polish the ports and combustion chambers on the stock heads and stock internals.... ?

no plan of porting due to funding, but how about polishing out the rough textures?

will it affect any aspects of the drivebility, engine performance? would it even make a difference?

THanks

Brian
