Default A few more "just wondering" questions about strokers, compression, and power...

Just wanted to ask a few quick questions, mostly out of morbid curiosity.

1) Easy question: Keeping everything else equal, including compression, how much horsepower/torque can one expect to gain by changing from the stock 346 rotating assembly to a 383 stroker assembly?

2) Eventually, I want to build a stroker engine with an intercooled supercharger pushing 7-8 lbs (maybe more ) of boost. However, it may be "some time" before I can afford the blower and everything that comes with it, so I'd like to build a stroker motor that makes good power NA but can also handle boost well in the future.

So what I want to know is, if I upgrade to a 383 stroker assembly, how far can I lower the compression (in anticipation of future boost) and still have at LEAST as much HP (naturally aspirated) as I had with the stock 346ci 10.1 to 1 compression engine?

TTT...sorry if they're dumb/basic questions. I'm not experienced with this kind of stuff.
