L92 for small bore

OK I ran a couple of searches and couldn’t find anything so…

What is the story on the L92 heads for the small bore (LS1) motors in the works from GM? I read about it in this month’s GM High-Tech Performance, and may hold off on a LS6 head purchase if they would be out by summer.

In the ET Heads Stepping it up thread they said they are working on an aftermarket L92 style head for a 3.9 bore. I have no clue what GM is up to.

I dont see what the big hype is over the L92 heads. Just get a set of ET heads and be done with it.
