Dual Valve Spring Failure
The reason is, I am currently thinking of the idea of increase my valve train reliability by switching to (1) dual valve spring [when I get my head ported], and (2) switch to a shaft mounted rocker assembly like the Jessel units.
I currently have the MMS 218 cam, Comp 918 springs and stock rocker arm. After the last valve spring failure, I do not want to experience that again.

I never knew I hurt the spring until I hurt a piston and pulled heads and found the broken spring (on another hole,on the opposite bank.)
I think the inner kept the car going with out having any damage to the valve on that cylinder.
