Update: Just got off the phone will TSP they said that the LS6 stage 2.5 would be the best to use with this cam and will net about 10hp over the 5.3 stage 2.5, the only thing is they backed up for about 3 weeks. So anyone got some heads they want to get rid of?

Just like SVThis said, mine will buck a little bit, so I just learned how to drive it. Now, since I know how to drive it, I can be stuck in traffic and not have it buck. I have the 3.42's. I want/need 4.10's I think it will help out alot! Also for my case, launching this cam with stock gear w/ a 6 speed at the track was a chore in itself. My car goes 55mph in first gear with my redline (6700), so if you bog... you bog FOREVER! lol Good luck.

Interesting, any autos have a bucking problem? I would think that this is something that can be addresses with the tune.

It is in the tune. Both autos and manuals will have cam surge under 1700rpms. If your tuner knows what he's doing, he can eliminate it...well, at least 90% of it.

Partially, then the other 50% is in driving (MN6). Mine was tuned GREAT. It's just the overlap of the cam. Cant get around that.

you might know something my performance guy doesn't cause u have had experience with it, but he says that 3.73's is as low as he'd go with this cam because of all the low-mid TQ it makes...

Well, I dont personally think it makes alot of low to midrange torque. I only dynoed 365 torque, but 396hp. I want 4.10's to shorten 1st gear, and also because the top of 4th gear is 128mph with 4.10's, which is pretty close to what I would trap when I get spray.

Well, I've researched and for me 3.73's would be great for an A4 but that would only make me trap about 1mph faster than my 3.23's. So I'm going to just throw a stall in and wait on a new rear for the gears.

I dont know about what ya'll are looking at when it comes to gearing but, this cam is liking it above 4k. so with that said I would think 4.** something gears is what you would need to get it up there, where the power band is. I'm running stock gears on my m6 and and once it reach's 4000rpm's it realy pull's. I mean like if I pushed a button to give it extra power or something. "never used N2O or any kind of juice" so I cant compare to it.

I love this cam. yup, I get some surge when I'm slowing down to a stop or creeping along around parking lots. I think it due to 3.42 stock gears so when I get back to the states, 9" w/ 4.11's is going in.

You took the words right out of my mouth. I dont know where people are getting this thing about they say that this cam has good midrange. The top end is whats killer. And its just like you said, its like you pushed a nitrous button or somthing. I for one am definetly going with 4.10's in my 6 speed car. I think its going to make this a whole new car. Especially for my 60' and ET.
