What is the proper cam break-in, start to finish?

I would break in the springs that you most likely got installed w/it... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
Do about 3-4 heat cycles before really beating on it...and always let the car warm up before getting on it....thats how you break valvesprings... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

Spanky (Shawn?)...will you PM me and/or make a post about your results with that cam. I would EXTREMELY appreciate it because you have the same EXACT mods I have other than different headers, and a TB. Thanks. These type of cams really don't have a break in ..but agree ..I heat cycled my spring three times runs car at like 2000 rpm or so for like twenty minutes and then let it cool down for hour or two and repeated three times..also agree don't beat on the car till the temp guage comes up..good advice..and so far no problems here..over 3000 miles on my comp 918 springs..the car revs like a flash to 6600 rpm..its great..!!!
