Default Changing valve seals

Is it possible to change your own valve seals and if so, how hard is it to do? It looks like I can do it but just making sure I don't need any special tools or anything.

you would have to get your springs out then pull the valve seal out then tap the new into the guide. so you will need some tools.

Other than a valve spring compressor and something to keep the valves up( air compressor adapter works just fine ), just the standard tools like wrenches, sockets,....

Be careful not to nick the valves when trying to work the old seals off.

Actually, my heads are bare at the moment as they are off my car. I had cracked my other ones so I'm putting my stock ones back on. A friend advised me to go ahead and change the valve seals on them since I have 50k miles on them.

Allen, get the seals from Chris Slack @ Team Chevrolet, chriss@teamchev.com tell him Levi Procter sent you. He has the best GM prices.
