Default Last min. check.

Okay, Im about readi to have my cam install done. Im still unsure of the exact cam, but that will be figured out when I call L.G. to set everything up. prolly the G5 if I can get it to work. anyway, theres are the parts i've put together over the past few weeks. Just wanted to make sure I had everything for a proper cam install.
918 springs
titanium retainers
comp. push rods
Katech timing chain
Katech Ls6 oil pump.

Just a lil check.

Hey D-Man, you've followed along with all the dialogue about the 918 springs, right?

If not, I'd heartily recommend you check the threads right in this forum...

Yeah, I've followed them somewhat. But I really didn't see any other option other than the 918's?

Well, then, you've seen the Isky 295D's getting good press - ain't had the $$ to look into goodies, yet, so I couldn't tell you how the price would compare.

Maybe check the date you bought your 918's... see if that concurs with the roughly two-week window that seems to characterize the defective sets... maybe ask Comp to swap your set just to be safe?

Out of curiosity...why didn't you have L.G. get all of the parts for you? That way they might feel some responsibility if your valve spring or some other part fails.

I suck a saving so it'd be for ever,lol.
