They have the part numbers for the bolts and head gaskets separatly now, the kit is still available also.

Napa carries the gaskets (for MUCH less than GM...around $15 each). Do a search for the part #'s.

You're on your own w/ the stock bolts. Just pick up some vaseline on the way to the dealership...it won't hurt as much.

Napa isnt much cheaper than GM anymore.

GM wants $34 for 2 gaskets, and the part # is 12498543.

Call SDPC and ask for that part number. That is their price.

Also, if you want the bolts, you need two of these part #'s (one kit for each head).. 12498545...those are $17 a side, so $34 for all the bolts you need and $34 for both gaskets.

Order the gaskets and then buy some ARP head bolts for $150'ish from a sponsor. If you are gonna get reamed, at least get some bolts you can reuse.

I'm having the same problem with head gaskets from a GM dealership that wants me to buy them together with intake gaskets in a kit for $275.

Is the GM part number for the separate head gaskets only = 12498543?

Who is SDPC? Is this a GM dealer?
