Default Need help On Parts

(ive posted this on ws6zxr.com but traffic there is slow and i havent got much responses Thought i would check what you guys suggest.)
"
hi im new to this site, I am saving up money to buy a 2001 ws6 Transam. I loved transams since forever and am obsessed with the new ones. I see all these Rustangs and imports talking all big. My Goal is to have a streetable car that will rape anything in the street within my state. I have done researching for a couple years on these cars. I found LS1speed.com to be the best site for parts. Basically i need help with what parts to get (company, and type), Here is what i had in mind/along the lines of. Ls1 engine (no swapped engines) making about 500-600HP naturally. then a Procharger (supercharger and intercoolers) to put the 500-600 to about 950HP and then a dry shot NOS to push quadrupal didgets. what this even be possible without swapping that Ls1 out?. I need a list of parts to help me out with of what i can change. IE titanium pistons/ connecting rods, Agostino Racing ported heads, headers, MAF, pulleys, throttle body, fuel pumps, fuel injectors, racing tranny, etc. Help would be great
what gearing should i get? clutches? what will i have to change to handle all this power? Any "useless" things i can take out my car to make it lighter? like getting off around 400LBS (replaced seats, no rearseats to make it a 2 seater, carbon fiber hood... what else?)
Many thanks in advance.
(i have about 6-8 more months of work left <img border="0" title="" alt="[Sad]" src="gr_sad.gif" /> )"

actually For the Goal I am trying to attempt do you guys suggest i Buy whatever i can get as far as 98 or higher firebirds go (i hate 97;s and down ehgh ugly)Like i mean as in not care if its auto, 5SP standard, 6Speed Standard, if its V6 or V8 . and just get what i can and then later just change everything swap out the v6 if it happens to be a v6 model i get, if its auto convert it to standard change the tranny, wiring, computer etc. OR should i just look specifically out and wait for a WS6 In good Condition witha 6Speed manual to pop up for sale. the only advantage is if i get whatever i can get.... then i will have a firebird now, instead of several months later. and i can store my crap winter beater in the garage.
How easy is the auto to manuel conversion and price? Will my goal be achievalbe with the ls1 or will i need a new engine all together? cuz then that kinda scores an extra point for buying the v6, seeing how if i bought an ls1 i would have to swap that anyways. what about the computers?. im trying to do this without spending as much money, sorry this post is a little hard to follow and confusing.
but anything i can get or just wait for a standard v8 transam

1000+ hp isn't what I would call streetable. Have you ever driven anything with over 400 rwhp?

1000's only with nos which i would only use when i go down to the local track but about 950 HP WITHOUT NOS is what im aiming towads... BTW VIPER STRYKER 2 is a Twin Turbo kit and exhaust/ intake kit that sells for the dodge vipers for around $55,000-$60,000 (almost price OF THE VIPER!) and it puts the measly 450HP upwards towards 1000-1100 and torque figures to 1,200 i think it was, it is 50 state Legal and is still streetable..... Diablo's stock come with a 5 Speed manuel 530HP @ crank powered by RWD ... and those are exotic LUXURY cars.... manuels can be started in 2nd gear... 3rd.... whichever, and with clutch slippage it isnt too hard to tame a beast after some practice. Help on what to swap out for LS1's to achieve this or to handle such things would be great, Fuel system upgrades etc....
