Default Heads off of the car for 2-3 weeks, any precautions????

I will dry the cylinders out with a paper towel, and the car is stored in a garage, but is there anything else I should do? Should I lightly lube the cylinder walls with oil or WD40 to prevent any rusting? Should I turn the motor over periodically? Anything I should do or know? I plan on keeping the shortblock covered with a towel to keep any debris out, fwiw. Thanks, Shawn

Squirt some oil in the cylinders and cover it up with a large garbage bag and seal it at the edges with some tape.

i left mine outside for what, 4 weeks i didnt oil the walls or anything. the rust goes away once you crank the motor over once, hehe.

you will need an air compressor ya know... mines to big to haul to your house.
