THESE ARE ON STOCK VALVES AND 5.7L 97' HEADS.
.200 159
.300 215
.400 244
.500 254
.600 265
.700 274
my porter is going to port a little more to get to 270 @ .600
i just want to know if these numbers look good considering stock valves, milled .030. went with stock valves to save alittle money and he put a 30 degree backcut on them.
thanks
Jerry

If I read that right, you said 97. that would make them an LT1 head. those numbers dont sound bad for an LT1 head. I just got my Stage 2 LS6 heads from MTI that flowed 317 on the intake <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

It wasn't until 98 they made their way into the f-body.

Blackhawk ss , your flow at .500" is down compared to my work with stock valves. You should not be concerned with .600" lift flow, it has nothing to do with your motors usable flow range.Stock valves actually flow very well since GM did their homework, you might try 2000+ LS1 valves and see their affect on your port work.
